zmctp: Zero-Modified Complex 'Tri-Parametric' Pearson Distribution for Overdispersed Count Data

Provides probability, distribution, quantile and random-generation functions for the complex three-parameter Pearson distribution and its zero-inflated extension. Maximum likelihood fitting uses analytic profiling of the mixing probability, multiple starting points and numerical boundary diagnostics. The parent family is described in the 2003 study <doi:10.1007/s00362-002-0134-7>.
